We use a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) model to make solar products affordable for low-income households while ensuring the sustainability of our business. This model makes solar access financially manageable and increases our per-unit revenue, creating a win-win for customers and business growth.
Community-Led Distribution
We work with local Water Point Committees, leveraging their deep community trust to recruit and train local sales agents, many of whom are women and youth. These agents support last-mile delivery, educate customers on product use, and follow up on payments, ensuring high repayment rates and strong local ownership.
Ensuring Affordability, Sustainability & Impact
Affordability: Flexible payments break down cost barriers for rural households. Sustainability: Upfront payments are reinvested to manage inventory and cash flow. After-Sales Support
Our model includes ongoing customer support. Agents and our call center send automated payment reminders and provide troubleshooting assistance.
